Awards and achievements: the highlights of our 2024

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to look back and celebrate the achievements and experiences that made 2024 an exciting and rewarding season for Tenuta Carretta. This year brought us memorable events, new challenges, and remarkable accomplishments.

The spring season saw us shine at tastings and events both in Italy and abroad, and September brought one of our most cherished traditions: Casa Cayega. This celebration of Roero Arneis DOCG Cayega once again united friends of Tenuta Carretta and enthusiasts of fine wines.

In November, we marked another milestone with the release of the third chapter in our Airali series: Alta Langa DOCG Airali Extra Brut Blanc de Blanc 2021. This wine is a testament to the exceptional terroir of Cissone, a project that continues to exceed expectations with its elegance and quality.

Then came the harvest – a pivotal moment for every winery. This year’s work in the vineyard was particularly demanding, but our team’s dedication and adaptability ensured results that lived up to our highest standards.

We were also honored to be featured in an episode of B.E.V.I. (Bacche, Enologi e Vinattieri d’Italia), a Sky Arte docuseries that spotlights Italy’s finest wineries.

In the meantime, our wines have continued to earn significant recognition, not just from our loyal customers but also from critics both in Italy and internationally. Building on the strong results from the first half of the year, the past few months have brought even more ratings and awards. These achievements are far more than just numbers – they are a testament to our philosophy and drive for improvement.
