Save the Date: Casa Cayega Returns on Sunday, September 8th

Grab your pen and calendar—this is a date you won’t want to miss. Tenuta Carretta’s summer event, Casa Cayega, is back for its seventh edition on September 8, 2024.

This year, we’re opening our doors for a festive day packed with activities for all ages. It’s a perfect opportunity to explore our beautiful region and savor the wines we’re proud to produce, especially our signature Cayega Roero Arneis DOCG, heart and soul of our winemaking philosophy.

The day’s events are varied and engaging, taking place primarily outdoors among the grass-covered vineyards during the peak of harvest season, and in the courtyard of Tenuta Carretta, a historic estate nestled in the Roero hills with over 555 years of history.

• 9:30 – 12:00 // Walk along the Grape’s Road – narrated by Ettore Chiavassa
• 12:00 – 17:00 // Guided tours of the cellars (starting every hour)
• 12:00 – 12:45 // Winemaker for a Day
• 12:30 – 14:30 // Lunch at Osteria La Via del Sale
• 12:30 – 14:30 // Gourmet Picnic
• 16:30 – 18:00 //Walk along the Grape’s Road – narrated by Ettore Chiavassa
• 17:00 – 17:45 // Winemaker for a Day
• 17:30 // Vertical Tasting of Roero Arneis DOCG Cayega
• 18:30 – 21:30 // Happy Cayega Hour
